Being the 'Image of Christ' to strangers!

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him." Jn 3:16, 17 NASB

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT & SCHOLARS MINISTRY

The Lord's heart is for all mankind in the world to be His disciples. And He has led my wife and I to take the Gospel into the international community of students and scholars at UT in San Antonio.

Every year, over one million people come from all over the world to the United States to study in our universities as new students, established scholars, professors and doctors. They come from China, Nepal, Japan, South Korea, India, Pakistan, England, Brazil, Mexico, Taiwan, Palestine, & many other countries. 75% of these visiting students & scholars will never see the inside of an American home. Nearly 90% will never hear the gospel! How they are welcomed and befriended will have a profound impact on their knowledge and understanding of who Jesus Christ is.

They are the future leaders of their own nations. If they return home without hearing the gospel, they likely will never hear it. In our home, we host weekly Discovery Bible studies, prayer breakfasts, Conversational English classes and MOMs luncheons for expectant wives. Once a month, we host larger events for dinners, movie and game nights where we often see as many as 35 to 60 international students and scholars show up.

Jesus is changing the lives of many we meet, and they are taking that new life and light back home with them and sharing it with their own families and friends.

Join with us in this work in prayer and however else the Lord leads you. See Him work His transforming light and life into the lives of people so desperate for it!
