"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him." Jn 3:16, 17 NASB
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT & SCHOLARS MINISTRY AT UNIVERSITY OF SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (UTSA)
They come from all over the world: from China, Tiawan, India and Pakistan, Japan, Korea, Thailand... They are students, scholars and doctors here to further their educations, men and women who have little or no knowledge or understanding of who Jesus Christ is.
Our Lord's heart is to reach people the world over with His Gospel of grace and mercy. Indeed, it is a command of His that we go into all the world to make disciples and teach them about who He is (Matthew 28). To that end, we seek the Lord's direction, committing our lives and prayer to Him and the work He has put before us. It is a reflection of who He is.
HOW YOU CAN HELP?
The most important thing you can do is to PRAY. PRAY that those of us who are leading and doing the work here will continue to draw ever closer to the Lord, that our lives and hearts will be before Him in all matters. PRAY for those we meet and disciple that their own hearts will be transformed by the living power and love of Jesus Christ. PRAY that our Lord will extend our opportunities to reach even more students that whatever we plant will produce a great harvest.
And you can help with financially providing for this work, both in support of the laborers, and for provision.
